I find it crazy how The Matrix used Ideas from the Ghost In The Shell anime and it was a success... Now the live action movie of Ghost In The Shell is taking ideas from RoboCop instead of just sticking with the concept that made the anime a success... I guess we all know how this is going to turn out...

So...we're getting a PG-13, toned-down, philosophy-light yet visually accurate version of what was done quite well as an animated movie aimed at people well over the age of 15, never mind multiple television series that were aimed at the same age range. We're getting a lesser product for a much higher price tag. Welcome to American entertainment logic.

This movie lost $60 million in the box office. It flopped because of it’s terrible casting choice white people in the lead roles. A typical Hollywood terrible boring generic action story plot.
