60 miles north of L.A..
Wow 😳 it only gets hotter the further south you go. Drier environment. Dehydrated plants and trees.
Prayers for the animals in the woods and the people who have no plans of escape. I would consider packing up and leaving NOW 🙏🏿 if I lived there. Hopefully some rain water was stored for these events.

Living in northern California, every year it's either "had a wet winter, so bad fire season" or "had a dry winter, so bad fire season" makes me wonder?

I used to live in Los Angeles CA area almost my entire life and I remember watching huge smoke from hacienda heights

I have a question? Is the utility company, whose pole sparked this fire, contributing to the funding of these firefighters risking their lives??? Oh, I apologize, Im talking about the issue in Texas.

These landowners need a miracle.

Start a fire watch program since these wildfires start at the same time every year. Why wait till the last minute when these fires are out of control?

Rain would actually help out but yet there's no rain at all to help them out

Never forget our land depends on natural wild fires as much as water/rain to stay healthy.

After all that rain they had a wild back? Though I guess the wet years just makes the bushes on the ground grow faster thus abundance of fuel this fire season.

It's called living in a fire adapted eco system. The worse wild fires we ever had in Colorado was in NW Colorado during the 1870s. Nothing like it since.

They never expain why they are trying to put out a fire burning through grass and brush in the middle of nowhere.

Same old story every year. Newsome waiting for FEMA money for the L.A. bums.

It’s almost like when you terraform a desert, wildfires happen.

It isn't a surprise, Ca doesn't have any rain for about 5 MONTHS each year. May-October. These very same people repeat this fire related information EVERY time there's a fire. NEVER happy, too much rain/not enough rain. GOODNESS SAKES.

Cali regretting Prop 2 1/2. Public safety budgets slashed. Add a bunch of water bomber airplanes grounded in the last few years.

Recipe for disaster...Hope CA escapes with minimal damage done. CA is a mess...but wouldn't wish this disaster on anything.
