Midwest illinois here. Been hunting rain gaps and 3 of us shot bucks within 2 hours. Jeff's information and knowledge is always rock solid. Thanks for everything!

I’m glad everyone is seeing the same thing.. I hunt west central Indiana. My cam pics have slowed down.. Maybe my stand is in such a good spot, deer don’t even know where it is.. 😂😂

Been loving these in the field episodes. The white board info then in the field examples. I’m here for it. Best of luck!

Northern Indiana here. Last weekend, when we had that heavy cold snap, I had 20 does and 2 little bucks bumping them all. Fast forward to this past Saturday morning. I had eyes on 5 different bucks. 1 for sure shooter which circled and winded me and 4 other younger bucks. All cruising. Not one single doe. It's amazing how quick things can turn around in the deer woods this time of year.

Every kind of weather provides a different advantage that we wouldn't get otherwise

Thank you for your insight. I got in the stand today after a heavy rain (12pm), and within 30 minutes I had a mature doe(first tag of the year). Perfect day. I haven't had many day pictures from that stand, but I was fortunate. Thank you sir

I had the same experience you guys did in SE MN that day, I was hoping the weather would pass and calm but it just got windy and stayed wet even though it really wasn't raining, maybe a slight mist, but kept falling from the trees. The following days were amazing for deer movement though!

The rut has been on for two weeks at least in southwest Michigan. Seen Buck's chasing does in the yard and watched some light antlers sparring in the yard.

Didn’t have a whole lot of movement in the rain today, but I’m still going to try it again in the morning. It’s rained pretty much all day, and it’s gonna be a downpour all night. Hopefully it will break a little bit and activity will pick up.

Had one chasing a doe yesterday, keeping her in an open field. No reaction to grunt or rattle. In the thumb of Michigan

Weather was perfect in the morning here in the Catskills had a small buck with his nose down walking through the field. I get a trail camera picture at 10:24 am of a doe. A minute later a buck is following the scent of that doe. The rut has been on since Halloween. I know it will start to get quiet soon.

Supposed to rain all night here and move out mid day so should be good tomorrow afternoon! I'm going to hang a stand early in the morning so I do minimal damage! My buddy just got his second buck in Ohio and it is a stud, he found it this morning after a quarter to shot and 1 lung / guts and left it all night! Went straight to it this morning! He just got a 150 inch 8 a couple weeks ago in Kentucky! Makes me feel behind but that's cause I am! Lol! I have not had anything on camera mature enough to sit for! I did see my biggest 2 yr old 10 this morning and I hope he didn't get shot cause I heard a few shots the direction he went.

Jeff, has been a tough hunt here in Baraga Co. Rain and lots of unseasonally warm weather.
