Hello Jeff I wanna thank you I found your channel in summer. I picked up new property this year where several nice bucks were on. One being biggest I’ve had chance to hunt. Between licking branch mock scrapes to other advice I’ve done and had success. After watching this video and major cold temps coming into NC today. I went to a standing 40 acre bean field after like you said let stand rest for a while. Yesterday at 5:25 the 12 pt probably high 150’s low 160’s ive hunted all Season gave me opportunity and I harvested him. So you sir are the Deer Guru and I’ve learned soo

Great Video. This morning I skipped my morning sit on the public to head out for a midday hunt only. Temps here in Ohio is 15 degrees and the colder it gets the more the deer move around Noon. You hit on this and it is what I am experiencing right now.

Jeff, thankful for all the tips. Was blessed to connect on a very nice Wisconsin 9 point this afternoon at 4pm with plenty of daylight. Hunting near a rye plot with the correct wind and looking at a window of movement. He was coming in to hit the rye and the water hole, then the mock scrape with hanging vine. I’m thankful for how you share information and knowledge with other whitetail hunters.

I was trying to decide where to hunt tonight. Figured Jeff would have the answer. Unpressured stand near heavy browse bedding it is! Got an 18 acre brush choked bedding area near a 3 acre sanctuary I haven't hunted since gun season opened for various reasons.
I too love the late rut. Many hunters give up after the first week of rifle season and the activity can get crazy the last week of November/ early December and I've got the woods to myself. Hoping to see some bucks this afternoon.

I understand what you're saying about skipping the morning, the property we hunt on the deer move in the morning. I don't see much in the evening, but maybe that's because I hunt my blind in the morning and afternoon

I plan on hitting 2 rut hard. I almost had a nice 8-10 pt last weekend. Lots of blood but I believe the snow helped him live😮‍💨
