Professional book scanning cradle for a fraction of the cost of a normal book scanner.

The Klip Capture is the latest solution to get you a profesional level book scanner, for the cost of an entry level one. When building it, we have focused on enhancing all the good features of the SV600 and other document cameras, while correcting their weak points.

We have created this book scanning cradle and used industrial grade materials, to make sure your process is as smooth as in day 1, even after years of usage.

The manual metal elevators, allow you to adjust them for any book up to a thickness of 8cm. That is game changing, given that 99.9% of books are smaller than this. This book holder is on another level, and nothing can get near it in this price range.

The flattening glass works in conjunction with the elevators to allow you to flatten the book as much as possible during the scanning process. This means perfect scans every time, reducing the rescan need to 0.

Give it a try and get our device, you will definitely not be dissapointed.

Nice effort. I would love to see a comparison with the Czur range.

Not dissing the product, just surprised about the demonstrated lack of OCR capability. Looks like that still takes a lot manual input.

Will you be selling the device or the STL files, so that we can print our own? What is the minimum camera requirement for modern OCR software?

Can you add a rotary spindle that will automatically turn the pages, preferably a wind up that I can twist and forget for an hour or so. Otherwise turning ever page by hand makes it hard work.

crazy how primitive these book scanners are in 2023. Would expect it to be fully automated with Software which crisps up contrast and discards page impurities.

nicoh.
