What would've been a nice touch is if during the Hidan fight:
1. Hidan's lifebar always refills slowly.
2. Kakuzu's lifebar can be emptied, but will just instantly refill once he reaches zero. This happens infinite number of times (despite not following lore, but whatever).
3. Orochimaru can either spawn a new body when his lifebar is super low, or if he dies, a few seconds later another version of his body just appears from the trees.

Ultimately, the fight will end when Hidan dies, then the cutscene begins to play. Because Hidan's lifebar regenerates, Orochimaru and Kakuzu's attacks should do WAY more damage than normal.
This would add to the feeling of how powerful members of the Akatsuki are.

They never really showed how Hidan regenerated tho.
He doesn’t even use any ninjutsu, only that curse ability of his. Which makes him the weakest of them all.

Knowing Orochimaru, to defeat him, he would have separated his body.

Kakuzu and orochimaru actually worked pretty well together. I could see them matched up. Orochimaru is apart enough and has enough tricks up his sleeve to avoid Kakuzus temper and being killed by Kakuzu

no way Hidan and Orochimaru were in a same period in Akatsuki. Deidara was Sasori's second partner, the replacement of Orochimaru who left Akatsuki. and Deidara joined before Hidan. so when Hidan become the newcomer, Orochimaru should not have presented in Akatsuki.

How could mortal Kombat not include Kakuzu and Hidan as DLC characters? They have so many good moves for brutalities and fatalities
