Oh man I was going to get mad cuz the phone turned off suddenly before I travel and tried your way and it magically worked
even after the phone powered on the battery was 62% so it's powering off is mysterious

I genuinely can't believe how the pressing down on the phone method worked!!! Thought it was bullshit but it actually worked, came back to just drop a like and thank you

ohh thank you soo much!, battery was fully drained and i put the phone charging and it didnt turn back on and i didnt know about force start and it helped!

Thank you thank you! Took a FULL MINUTE! But it came back on. What a pain!! Just after a restart using the touch drop down because the power button isn't working to restart..
Never been dropped or water damaged or anything and already a bug? So lame.

Oh, thanks for letting me know it could take more than 30 seconds.
It wasnt working holding the buttons for only 7 secs like it says on the Samsung's website.
