Hi guys! I had so much fun putting together the nursery. It was a lot of work but I feel so relieved that it is done and ready for our baby girl!

For those of you who are pregnant, when did you start putting together your nursery? What were your newborn must haves?! I definitely went a little overboard on baby clothes but it was so hard to resist!!

Thanks for sharing! Just a few suggestions… add shelves to create more storage and get stuff off the floor and clear space off of surfaces, get blackout curtains to help baby fall asleep and stay asleep, sound machine to help baby stay asleep, and you may want to move the baby swing into the family room area so you can watch tv and have baby facing you. This will allow you to enjoy tv but no screen time for baby plus you can get other things done while baby is safe in swing like wash dishes or make/ eat a meal. Good luck and congrats!🙂🤰🏻

The room is so cute!!!! You definitely need blinds or curtains so your baby can nap during the day!

You will enjoy being a mum it will be the best time in your life. You are certainly prepared this is one lucky baby girl. Remember to have a thermometer to check the temperature of the baby bath. One of my boys would cry when bathed so I would grab a face washer and trickle water over his tummy and it soothed him and I talked very gently and lovingly to him it really helped him to relax!!! I don't know if anyone has told you but you will feel a love for her like you have never felt before it is both beautiful and overwhelming all at the same time.

The color scheme is so sophisticated and soothing, perfectly offsetting the river scene from the window, so quintessential NY. I started preparing the room after the 3 month mark because that was when I was finally over the constant nausea. It took months to get it ready, painting, mural, furniture, custom made quilt for the crib (that she refused to sleep in!). LOVE what you chose. I will think about anything to add, but you seem to have it all. Mwah - 💖
