The PROBLEM with iPad mini 7🤔#apple

The iPad Mini 7 has some impressive upgrades, but there's one big issue holding it back. Is it a dealbreaker or just a minor hiccup for apples newest iPad?

Bezels are for holding the device it would be pretty hard to hold it if you had thin bezels

bezels unfortunately have to be a bit bigger cuz you gotta hold it without touching the display. but it needs pro motion

I feel like bezels are a bit to big. I know bezels are good for holding your hands in but this is very massive.

I have been waiting for a decent upgrade for the mini, but eventually I continued the tradition by getting the M4 iPad Pro. The screen quality is the one thing that makes the iPad usable. Also once you get used to the pro speakers, it is very hard to downgrade. I upgraded after using the original iPad Pro 9.7 for 7 years, the light weight and thin design of 13 inch version convinced me to get the bigger screen.

There’s still a big difference between a bit iPhone and a small iPad. The iPhone still has a much more narrow aspect ratio. The iPad is wide enough to allow for landscape orientation and split screen multitasking.

You do know the bezels on the iPad is so there’s no accidental touch inputs? Cause even with it being small it still requires to be used with two hands unlike an iPhone.

the bezels are entirely intentional. ipads are used for making and consuming content, (primarily), and the bezels are so you can use it without accidentally touching the screen. just a bit of speculation, but they also probably keep the bezels around because they can make them smaller in the future for more press coverage.

I constantly touch the side of my screen by mistake when I’m showing somebody my phone and lose the post or I lose whatever I was looking at. I don’t mind the chunkly bezels cause if they were any thicker you’d be complaining that they aren’t big enough for your hand to fit without touching things you’re not trying to touch.

I’n planning to get a iPad Air 5 is to worthy? Because the refurbished one is cheaper than this new iPad mini and it’s prob better

I agree. Also, should I get the mini 7 or the m3 MacBook Pro? I’m debating it in my head and it’s conflicting lol. Please respond, I need someone else’s opinion

With LCD screens big like that (not big) it's hardware to minimize bezels.

I’m just planning on getting it so I can watch content, read books, ditch paper & pencil and ofc just use as a second screen when working on coding projects

the reason for having big bezels is for being able to hold with ur fingers at sides not that apple can not make it smaller

I personally kind of like phones with a little bit of a bezel because no bezels looks a bit weird to me

I dont see it as problem, its just a bezel when your drawing does that bezel mess up your drawing or when watching content?

I would cry if they got rid of the bezels, to me they look super cool to have
