This just happens to me any time I try to lift something to heavy.

It's the same with having athritis on the knee where after experiencing pain your body will naturally try to lock out the knee by producing bone fragments around the knee which are called bone spurs/osteophytes that shaped & looks like tiny pillars or structures of rocks. Of course you don't want to just stay on the couch being immobile. By making more movements your body will continually produce these bone spurs. By this stage your athritis are now called osteoarthritis (osteo= osteophytes/bone spurs) This definitely worsen your condition obviously because there will be way MORE knee, bone to bone grinding!! Protect your knees.

Bruh I’ve blown my knee out,
And I started with 10 lbs, eventually built up the courage, and I say courage accurately to get it to 20, I was 20 years old
I got a different level of respect for seniors who get their knees replaced, it’s a crazy thing to come back from, and people make it seem like it’s business as usual it was really hard and painful

I remember this happening to my lag when I was doing my PT, it doesn't hurt but it does feel like the muscle wants to give out.

I got surgery on my right Achilles tendon this April. August... my physical therapist is turning me to a ballerina. The toe walking sucks so bad. Climbing up the stairs is ok. Climbing down is hard. My right foot hesitates by itself.

Surgeons need to educate themselves about what physical therapy actually is. Looks like very late phase rehab. If you see physical therapy as restoring strength, why not just send them to a personal trainer...
