I hadn't seen On the Move since the 70s, but I was able to sing along with the theme tune word for word watching it on this video! It's incredible the things you can drag from the depths of your memory when you try. 😊

I found the book for Raven when I was a teenager in my local library. Bought the series on DVD. Love it.

Children of the stones was one of my favourites. The Orsen Wells programme, I vividly remember the theme tune, I was born in 1968, so I was quite young. On the move I remember, in fact you've made me remember quite a lot 🙂 thank you 😊

I remember seeing most of these. Thank you for letting me know that both 'Orson Welles' Great Mysteries, and 'The Rivals Of Sherlock Holmes' are available on DVD. It's a shame though, that Network, who, over the years have released a great deal of niche material, recently went out of business.

On The Move was one of the best things the BBC ever did. It genuinely changed lives.

Amongst others here I definitely remember On The Move. It was on every Sunday morning. In those days the BBC put lots of educational stuff on a Sunday morning. You could learn a foreign language or even sign language for the deaf, that sort of thing. There is no reason why those programmes couldn't be made available now but I don't suppose they exist anymore.
