I will talk about how easy it is to open a library account and get a library card, as well as the costs associated with borrowing books. I'll share with you about my initial hesitance to open a library account, and the fact that I'm super thrilled about it now!

Anyone who needs access to a wide collection of books and audiovisual material, for studies, research, or simply for learning, can benefit from library services. As I haven't used library services for a very long time, I was positively surprised at how advanced the system of the Toronto Public Library was. It was very easy to search for books online on the Toronto Public Library website, borrow them online, or put them on hold. It is even possible to select where you want to pick up the books from.

Good to hear that library service is free to residents in Toronto. But this is not the case in Singapore where I have to pay annually for the library service. By the way, do I need a proof of address to apply for a Toronto public library card?

Im hoping you can help me (im terrible with all tech) i finally got myself a ereader (kobo libra 2) i love it. So far ive only been borrowing ebooks fr my public library (toronto) i just purchased a jbl speaker so i can borrow audiobooks, now heres my problem, i dont know how to get the audiobooks grrrr. Ive looked everywhere online for help and get any. Can u please help me. I have overdrive on my kobo but all i can do is get the ebooks. Also wen i get my emails that my on hold book is available i cant seem to get that ebook on my kobo, what I do is go to my kobo and pick my books fr the borrow ebooks fr your public library section and look until i see one that says borrow. Im sorry if this sounds confusing, i have a hard time explaining. I just really want to get free audiobooks fr the library, anyhelp would b so very much apprecited thank you

If I don't live in Toronto, is there any way to get their Digital Access Card? They offer some research databases that I really need.
