Puzzle Geek: How to Solve the First Cylinder in 4 Easy Steps

Hello Puzzle Lovers!

I am excited to introduce Puzzle Geek! In this new series, my geeky alter ego will teach you tips and tricks to solving puzzles. In my regular videos, I show you how I solve puzzles for the first time, but some of you might be looking for shorter videos focusing on the best solution to a certain puzzle. If so, then this series is perfect for you! In this episode, I show you how to solve the classic First Cylinder puzzle by Wil Strijbos in only FOUR steps and explain the genius mechanism behind it. I hope you enjoy it!

To open the cylinder:
2:30 - Step 1 - Align V opposition the signature
3:02 - Step 2 - Tilt cylinder slightly with signature on top
3:15 - Step 3 - Put cylinder upside down and press against the cover
3:35 - Step 4 - Position cylinder horizontally with the V on top
(Repeat steps 4x)

To close the cylinder:
5:40 - Step 1 - Align V opposition the signature
5:46 - Step 2 - Position cylinder horizontally with the signature on top, keep fingers pressed to the cover and shake to move balls out of the inner cylinder
5:56 - Step 3 - Keeping fingers pressed, put cylinder upside down
6:06 - Step 4 - Keeping fingers still pressed, reposition cylinder to original position with cover on top
(Let go of pressed fingers and repeat steps 4x)
