When it comes to replacing missing teeth, several solutions are possible. The partial removable prosthesis is equipment made to measure that permits the replacement of missing teeth and is worn only during the day. These dentures can be removed at any time, permitting their upkeep. The use of a partial prosthesis allows for a balance of the mastication forces and favours the conservation of the surrounding tissues while protecting the stability of the nearby teeth. However, it requires an adaptation period that can vary from one individual to the next. The mouth must get used to this foreign body. The complete procedure is done over a few appointments. During the first appointment, the primary impression is taken. This is used for the making of an individual tray that is made to measure to facilitate the sampling of the second (more precise) impression. The final impression is send to the lab for the production of the first part of the prosthesis. At each step in the making of the prosthesis, it is possible to bring about corrections in the desired adjustments. Patients can give their opinion as to the comfort, colour and shape of the teeth chosen. On the last appointment, we try it in the mouth. Everything will be done so as to guarantee the sparkle of a natural smile.
