I have a total of 4 stents. 1st was in 2010 and then another in 2022 and then 2 more later in 2022. It's a life saving procedure. Thank God for modern medicine and the Docs that put them in!

I just had heart attack nearly two weeks ago, put in the Hospital.
After a few days waiting I had my turn to get the cardio Stent Jan.17, 2023 wow! It is so amazing! It goes into my wrist (I'm awake) the next day im home. I'm glad I have only one STENT needed to put in.
Just a tiny needle pricked n in no time its done.
This is "MIRACLE" no big surgery, you can do things straight away.

I learned about Stents the hard way. In July 2019 I dropped dead from full cardiac arrest due to what doctors call the "Widow Maker" at 51 years young. Luck was on my side, I made a full recovery thanks to many people, and of course the man up stairs. Now I take very little cholesterol medication and Aspirin daily and a healthy diet. I probably think of the incident almost every day. Survival is minimal and I made a full recovery. If you find yourself in a situation, please listen to your doctors. I didn't at first but believe me, I sure do now. I was always thin and in shape. I never saw it coming.

My dad just had 2 stents put in after a heart attack. he had 100% blockage in one artery and 80% blockage in the other artery. Dr. said he had very short time frame to live when he got to the hospital. He's doing better now thanks to this tiny miracle.

I had a heart attack 3 years ago and had 4 stents inserted. I made the necessary lifestyle changes, regular exercise, improved diet etc, and lost 40lbs over time. I'm on Aspirin and a Statin, I was also on Ticagralor but this was discontinued after 12 months. I've had no problems since, never had a pain or other symptom since the day it happened, regular blood and stress test results are always good. I realize my good luck at having survived and so my healthier lifestyle has become the norm.

Thanks, Doctor, for your wonderful and informative video - I am 78 and have had chest pains for a number of years, and always thought it was due to acid reflex flow. I exercise daily, don’t drink or smoke and live a healthy life style. Heart specialists are now looking into my regular chest pains, in a London NHS hospital. And, it seems that I am a prime candidate for a heart stent, or stents, very soon. Thank God for modern medicine, and all good doctors like yourself.

What an absolutely brilliant description of the deployment of stents in the case of (at the very least) an Angina attack. I was supported by the brilliant team at Southampton General Hospital UK when I suffered a severe Angina attack. The attack returned and I had another stent insertion at the hospital. This was all over 20 years ago, and the surgeon (whom I will not name for privacy reasons), advised "Get on an exercise Program". I have been exercising ever since, every day, mainly cardiovascular, and nothing more strenuous. I have to add I am now 84 not for reasons of vanity, but for accuracy.
