How To Get FREE BOOKS On Instagram (Step By Step Process)
Показать описание
In this video I'll walk you though the step by step process on how to use Instagram to get free books every month.
Over the past two years, I've grown my Instagram account @getbetterwithbooks from zero to over 157,000 followers using this process. You don't need to be a professional photographer, but you do need to understand some basic concepts.
1) Create a new IG Page. It's tough to grow your account if you're combining book photos with personal stuff, so do yourself a favor and just open up a new account, ideally something with the words "books" or "reading" in the name.
2) Have an angle. Whether you're into personal finance, fiction, or anything in between, it's important to focus on a niche when you first start so your audience knows exactly what type of content they can expect from you.
3) Post valuable content. IG is a visual platform, so make an effort to post content that is visually appealing, but also provides some sort of inherant value. Teach something. Give an interesting opinion. Use humor. What ever it is, make sure you're giving something of value to your audience. And do it consistently.
4) Engage with your community. Follow similar book accounts and engage with them consistently. Not only does this help to get your name out there by posting insightful comments, but it's never a bad idea to show love to other accounts. This is a show of good will and others will be likely to reciprocate. This will help you drive up engagement for your posts, and also your post performance, which is key to grow your account.
5) Reach out to publishers and authors. Many publishing outfits have some sort of influencer programs that provide Bookstagram accounts (of a certain size) free books each month in exchange for posts on your IG feed. There are also growing numbers of authors who use IG as a promotional vehicle for their books, and are willing to partner with book influencers to promote their books.
This is meant to be a high level overview on how to grow your Bookstagram account to get free books on Instagram each month. If you're looking for more details on how to put this into practice, feel free to message me directly on Instagram @getbetterwithbooks
And if you're looking for more info on the publisher imprints (specific to Penguin Random House) here's the link:
