5200 is NOT the fastest you can achieve "with processors running at default." It's the fastest officially supported speed, which means nothing. The officially rated top speed for 5000 series, AM4 CPU's is only 3200, but almost any 3600 kit will run just fine. Same was true for older generations of Ryzen which topped out at officially supported rated speeds of 2933, but even first gen Ryzen would run with any decent 3200 kit.

Igor's Lab article unsurprisingly confirms what Robert Hallock explained : "Zen 4 also breaks with some of the conventions of previous Zen CPUs in terms of tuning. For example, the Infinity Fabric (FCLK) now runs independently of the RAM controller (UCLK) and RAM (MCLK) and has its new sweet spot at 2000 MHz, which is also set automatically when loading EXPO or XMP profiles."
I don't know why Pixovert was unable to listen.

Just curious why you're recommending to buy RAM now when the kits available now are not EXPO certified? Shouldn't we wait for the EXPO kits?

I'm currently running a G.Skillz Trident Neo RGB 6000 Kit and it's running at 6000mhz

If your clockspeeds exceed 6400mhz you can increase the voltage until the heiroglyphs come into focus. If your CAS latency is low enough you can actually see how the pyramids were made in the infinity fabric.

Hi. I´m building a "white PC". I chose the Ryzen7 7800X3D processor and the Asus ROG Strix B650E-A Gaming WiFi Motherboard.
I Found the DDR5 Corsair Dominator Titanium in white, but unfortunatly only XMP. I could by the expo model but they only exist in grey.
What would happen if i run the White XMP version on my AM5 setup? Will it still be compatible or will i run into some issues?

I keep trying to do this, and I can't manually set and get my 5200 rated Intel XMP coded profile 128gb of DDR5 up from 4800 to 5200... on a Ryzen 7950x that wants an EXPO coded recommended profile.

Someone needs to make a video explaining what all these settings and numbers actually mean, on a physical hardware level, so you have some idea what you are doing by changing a number. Otherwise, you're just dealing with a black box and the values are literally... almost meaningless.

I got my 7950x, x670e taichi, gskill 32gb 6000 kit as part of a combo deal, I didnt catch that the RAM didnt have EXPO support though, only XMP, and it was a pain to get working right. (had to set it up manually) I have a proper EXPO kit on the way though. So let this be a warning to you guys who make the AM5 plunge.. GET EXPO RAM!!!

Videos like this shouldn't even be allowed to be uploaded. This person clearly doesn't even own the ryzen 7000 platform. All the footage used in this video(and most other video this account has posted) is from other sources.

Hi, I'm not an expert and would like some advice. I have x670, ryzen 7900x and ordered 6000mhz cl30 amd expo gskil ram. I saw that the 6400 mhz with expo technology is not there yet. Do you advise me to make the return and take the normal 6400mhz?

One correction here: G.Skill has a kit out now that features an incredible 7600 MHz (F5-7600J3646G16GX2-TZ5RS). Would be interested in performance gains with that kit...

I had to order a non amd expo kit and i'm going to be running 4x16gb setup, so i'm probably not even gonna get 6000Mhz on my 6200MHz kit.
