Wow, you straight up just translated the song 1:1 into real instruments, I've never see anybody arrange this song like that before. You're unbelievably talented.

David Wise has said he originally wrote this for an additional water level that never materialized. I always associate this song with water because of this. I think of just floating calmly and peacefully on the waves. The instrumentation on this version is gorgeous.

As a music producer who who has never played donkey Kong, this is unbelievably beautiful. Video games music transcends art.

Fantastic cover! This sounds every bit as professional as what would be on an OST

I need to stop being an instrument sane person and become an instrument maniac. The amount of instruments I don't play is ridiculous.

When I played DKC 2 as a kid in the 90s, I would pause so many stages just to hear the amazing music. This track never gets old.

Im 37 years old and you Sr took me back to my child hood growing up in small town with 4 older brother. Fighting for the remote control on the SNES to play DK in my mom’s living room while my mom cooking in kitchen. She passed away 1 month ago she was a wonderful mother miss here every day.

Stickerbush Symphony is a piece that always brings a tear to my eye. I never played DKC2, but... the feeling that the piece carries makes me feel nostalgic and lonesome. Like I'm so far away from everything and everyone, stranded in the ocean on a clear, starry night, with the ocean reflecting the sky. The best way to describe it is a beautiful loneliness. You know that the pain and emptiness won't last forever, but while you gaze into that dark star lit sky, your soul feels an ache that it kind of just... accepts. And you drop your guard and let whatever sadness you've bottled up out. That's what this piece does for me.

One of my favorite musical themes from the original SNES Donkey Kong series! Excited for it!

😮 omg. Never thought of you playing this VGM masterpiece but now I can't wait. Will I cry? For sure. Will it be amazing? Without any doubts.

My husband and I love this song! We plan for it to be our first dance song when we have a wedding!

I'm a big fan of David Wise and all of his work. Stickerbush Symphony is my favourite of his entire career and so I've listened to a lot of different versions by different artists. I can say without any doubt that your version is by far the best of them all, you not only recreate perfectly the essence of the original song, but you also improve the feeling that comes from it. Very grateful for being able to listen to your version, congratulations for your work.

checkpoint: just finished highschool after years of repeating it. i had a lot of mental issues that i had to deal with, and it came in full swing during the pandemic. i nearly offed myself multiple times, but i got through it. my family has been very supportive all the way, and i'm just really grateful they're here. my grandma recently beat covid after needing to be hospitalized. im glad she's still with us, she's been my number one supporter for as long as i can remember. i turn 20 in 24 days, january 30th. maybe this time, it'll be better. it WILL be better. hopefully i can get a job or go to college so i can support my family. i never say goodbye under the assumption that we'll meet again. see you later.

game saved.

Dying is easy, life is hard, it's the waiting that sucks, sometimes it speeds up so fast and sometimes it slows down to a soft kind stillness (I'm crying lol) like this music, this song is like seeing over the horizon and being astonished at the brightness of the warm daylight seeping in your skin

Why i'm crying!?
Only people lived in the 90's would understand me.

Small note, but the way you edited the string insteuments so we could see the vibration waves in the strings was a REALLY neat touch that did not go unappreciated
