One of the things that impressed me the most about this poster (besides the hidden details and the absurd quality of the art) was the realism in Mario's clothes, in games Mario's clothes are always kind of "static"? plastic? I think those would be the words because in the animations Mario's clothes don't move except for his cap and if I'm not mistaken the only time we saw his clothes with a more realistic look was in Super Smash Bros Brawl where clothes had a more fabric-like texture and seam lines but here, they raised the level, you can see some adaptations they made that remind me Movie Sonic, where the look mixes fiction with reality and still maintains the essence of the character while having a unique style, take a look, for example, at the shirt sleeves and the legs of Mario's suit with folds and seam lines, the gloves with a texture and a small cut in the wrist region, the shoes with laces and even the cap having slight creases, I'm curious to see how the other characters will be in the movie because it looks like they will be based a lot on the games, with the plot of Mario being a resident of Brooklyn who ends up in the Mushroom Kingdom by accident meets princess Peach, the Toads, Bowser and etc and all the details are amazing, even the items look pixelated and this will give that tone of nostalgia, I'm very excited to see the final result of this

Honestly they look pretty amazing im really happy with Marios design i wanna see the other characters of course also neat to see a real Mushroom kingdom with a lot of Buildings and stuff and theres Pipes im looking forward to this movie for sure.

The poster looks pretty cool, but I'm still scared beyond belief. Mario and the Toads look so much like, maybe even better than, their game counterparts, and we have actors that are going to sound NOTHING like them. I'm going to have such a shock to here the voices of Chris Pratt and Keegan Michael-Key come out of Mario and Toad.

I really love this poster and I love how the Toads are wearing sweatpants and not diapers. Also on Toads backpack you can see patches from Tosterina and Fossil Falls which is amazing attention to detail

Great video and intelligent commentary. I am a fan of the 1989 Super Show cartoon. The cartoon worlds looked great, but the TV budgets were so low there were always animation errors. Illumination's design looks impressive and this movie is in RealD 3D!

Above the Purple Toad’s head who is carrying a Cheep-Cheep in a bag, can see infront of the store behind him is a sign that has Princess Daisy’s logo!! It’s very hard to see but you can easily try to make it out! 🌼🌼🌼

Honestly I was never skeptical. The voice actors are ridiculous but I know this movie will be average at worst and great at best. It won't be a masterpiece or a disaster. It might be a bit cringe but that's it.
