the 1 horse ran into his backside made contact, and the 7 horses reaction was to veer to the right to avoid the contact, foul should have been on the 1 for reckless riding, watch it for real this time

Only serious horse racing fans see a problem, everyone else just sees good defense that you'd do in NASCAR. A horse jumped a puddle....a horse will jump at a bullfrog croak, calm down people

I dont like that rule if I'm out front in a race then I can go wherever I want on the track in my opinion cuz I'm the leader and the leader controls the race not second place not third place

I had the 7 and 5 horses mixed in with a couple tickets. Loved both horses. Unfortunately it looked like the 7 didn't have the juice to finish in front to me so he went from about the two lane out to about the 6th or 7th lane and back to stop the surge. Screwed up the race, sad day!!

You have 20 horses in a race and then you act surprised when they get bumped? Most race have 10-12 horses.  If Churchill Downs was so greedy this would have never happened.

Dan Patrick just showed his true IGNORANCEof horse racing...At EVERY TRACK there are two SEPARATE VIEWS of the race as it is run...One us the PAN VIEW which is seen by the betting public and simulcast outlets..THE other view is the TOWER or head-on view which is seen by the judges only...The only time this view is seen by the public is when an INQUIRY OR OBJECTION leads to a placing in the race. Kentucky of all jurisdictions had been under the microscope since the BREEDERS CUP fiasco several years ago in the LADIES CLASSIC..At the end of the day the Stewards got it right..SO THERE...

DQ was correct. Problem was stewards failed to do the job quickly. This is horse racing folks. Too bad. Could have been a major disaster obviousness has nothing to do with it.
