Civil 3D Surface Creation

I've been out of the industry for a few years and the last time I built surfaces, breaklines, contours, etc. I was using AutoCAD release 14. This was very helpful as I am looking into getting back into this field. The courses you take in college really only demonstrate architectural or mechanical drafting.

It seems like that are a lot of people that are interested in this that are not in the US. Do you know why? It seems like half of the AutoCAD videos out there are Arab.
