One of the worst aspects of Siege was that the rewards were just plain terrible. The motivation to push through many of the challenges with co-ordinating your clan was ruined by lean rewards you get including years likely for Lamasu. Well, Plarium before the first siege have responded and we have revised rewards and the changes are - significant. Lets take a look!

I'm a clan deputy, organising this is a *lot* of work. And with the best will in the world, its like herding cats. As a somewhat casual clan (tier 2), I think interest in this will fall off rapidly without some better means of getting everyone onto the same page with what to do. Even trying to use discord, its a bit of a clusterduck :D But fair play to Plarium for upping the rewards, maybe enough to keep people trying it.

It is really nice to see that Plarium was willing to listen to feedback and make corrections/improvements right away. The biggest problem though, is that this is just arena with extra steps. It is incredibly uninspired and lazy. There are NO new mechanics and all we get is a new gearset again without expanding our max gear capacity. *yay*

I think it's an almost guarantee that the champion will be power crept by the time you get it. Like you said a year is a long time in raid and I imagine there will be new champs released that are going to be better and easier to get. It was nice to see a quick reaction too this problem from plarium, that was a smart move on there part

Hellhades: "5-star mythical is probably worse than 6-star legendary"

Here's a comparison for gloves with C.dam main stat and Atk% target substat.

5* mythical: 65% C.dam with 24-36% Atk (average 30%)
6* rare: 80% C.dam with 15-21% Atk (average 18%)
6* epic: 80% C.dam with 20-28% Atk (average 24%)
6* legendary: 80% C.dam with 25-35% Atk (average 30%)

Personally I think 6-star rare is better than 5* mythical. With the rare it gets 2 substats and rolls only twice. You'll double roll into the one you want 1 out of 4 times. The comparison here is with a 5* mythical that's a complete godroll. Red stat and all 4 rolls into the desired stat. Those odds are miniscule, and the 6-star rare has a 15% C.dam headstart from the main stat. You'd have to roll up that mythical to level 16 to find out if it even beats a rare that only has to roll up to level 8.

great job plarium listening to feedback and adjusting. It takes a level a humility but in the end shows a care for your customers. Hope it's a sign of better interactions.

I sent in a support ticket regarding "FEEDBACK" on the new game mode:

Basically mentioned that once you use the three tickets the game mode is over.

Made the suggestion that attack tickets should regenerate every few hours like Clan Boss. That will allow the game mode to last longer than two minutes.

The matchmaking is a complete joke this round. Clans fighting others with 200% power, 300% ranking points and 200% activity. Just awful work, but we should have expected it as Plarium sticks hard to their motto: "Better than nothing, but not by much!". So disappointing.

Hope draws aren't common else that win rate will tank so hard - for both clans, it's theoretically possible for casual clans to take years if they end up having a lot of draws because matchmaking does Its job resulting in less outright domination - which translates as a loss for both clans in case of draw.

I've pulled my first two ferals and one is Flat Def gauntlet, but with Spd and Acc. The other is shield with C.Rate and C.Dmg. The rewards will make sense to many mid-tier clans, so, good job, Plarium.

Now that we are a day into siege I can say I am surprisingly happy with it. The reward improvements are great. The coordination toll is high, but I think that with a relatively stable clan the coordination will decrease with time. Had the rewards not been buffed I would have certainly been on the other side of the fence. I could be biased because we are currently crushing our opponent, and maybe this mode is no fun if you are losing or hard gated by an enemy defense. We had 1 clan member with more than 10 Defense wins.

Do you know, or can you find out, if gear on defense champions is “set and locked” at the end of prep phase?

Trying to understand if you can safely gear swap for attack teams, soul cross, sintranos etc.

Or even more sinister… can you swap out gear sets mid siege to throw off attackers (add/remove stone skin for example)

Its good to see that they are listening, now they just need to sort out the matchmaking, we are an active clan but very low spend/free to play, highest power any of our players have is about 7m, then its six more of us above 5m. We are up against a clan with 28 members above 8m and then two smaller guy, lots of them up around 20m power so we cant do much at all, barely been able to kill anything so wont even get to the first chest as an alliance.
Fights need to be even to be fun, this was just a complete waste of time for us and depending on how much it cost to repair towers we might not even be able to repair them all before next battle as most members wont earn any florins at all this time around :/

Am i the only one that hates that I need to win a battle to get the chest? My clan is tier 6 and most of them are over seas, and as an early late game player I woke up to all the teams gone except the few they couldnt beat at all, and my defenses wiped in 1 go. Do I just not get rewards now, even though I used all 3 attacks and made the enemy waste a tean or 2 on me?

I think that the clan leader should be able to move teams around. I'm a clan leader and there are weaker players that just don't care about the chat and they occupied couple of spots in the stronghold. I should be able to remove those teams as a clan leader.

Kudos to Plarium for making the rewards more worthwhile! It's better, but still not enough in my opinion. And here's the thing. Nobody in my clan did anything in the prep phase because the rewards simply did not make it even remotely enticing. Now they have improved the rewards when it is too late to do any prep. And that doesn't even cover the fact that the relevant info for "what to do" during prep was sketchy at best. Plarium did the right thing, but too late for it to matter for the first siege. The aforementioned, plus the fact that the game tools for managing a siege are non-existent make this a huge fail for Plarium.
