What Will We Find Beneath The Old Trackway? | Metal Detecting UK

In this episode I have returned to one of my best permissions but this time armed with the knowledge there was once a trackway that ran through the site. Nobody knows how old the trackway is and when it went out of use however with our Metal Detector, we aim to find something which can help understand this old feature more.

I've not been out in a very long time with a busy summer driving tourists around the Highlands, I'm trying sort out a new permission which is a super old property and many acres around it, just waiting for a meeting with the owners 🤞🏼 fingers crossed because my current three permissions as lovely as they are are just not producing anything at all and not even bothered making any videos, it was 6 months or more ago I made a video. Just upgraded to the D2 and I’m using the legacy program at the moment, on my 2nd outing the the D2 I found a mark Anthony denarius, Elizabeth l threepence and a Roman fibula

Nice one mate - and that live dig for the hammered, definitely one-in-the-eye for the recent Nay'sayers, hey wot? 😅 - on a serious note tho': I wouldn't let these people make you change/compromise your channel mate. You've established a really nice/succesful style for the videos. You're great on camera, and your usual 'chat scenarios' (and shots), have you really nicely set in the frame, and chatting in a much more relaxed fashion. If it were up to me, I'd say go back to the tried-and-tested shooting style, and maybe throw in the *occasional* Live dig/coil action. In short - b*lls to the Nay'sayers!!... 😅 Great efforts anyways Michael, and thanks as ever, Bobby. 🙏🏻
