In August 2001, a seasoned hiker from Kentucky stood at the edge of a pristine lake in the Great Smoky Mountains. The weather was perfect, his permits were in order, and he'd spent months planning this solo adventure. But as he ventured down a remote trail that morning, something felt terribly wrong. The forest had gone completely silent - no birds sang, no animals stirred, like someone had hit a mute button on the entire wilderness. So when he stumbled upon a mysterious black cube that seemed to devour light itself, he knew he'd encountered something that defied explanation. What he didn't know was that he wouldn't be the last person to find these strange objects in America's wilderness, and that the military had a disturbing interest in them.

THE CUBE! 😮 My dad worked for Silver falls, Milo McIver and Champoeg state parks. I would always ride my mountain bike around all the parks and visit my dad. There are places/trails he told me to not go to. As a teenager, duh, I had to. Also, as a knowledgeable and patched up boy scout and ROTC cadet I gained outdoor navigation and survival skills. I was ALWAYS PREPARED with bare essentials to stay light weight. I never did solo camping. I learned riding dirtbikes out in nowhere, it's best to have at least one more person if camping overnight. I told myself, I'm only going to check out for 3-4 hours and go where I was told not to. As soon as I get to this dense trail I could no longer feel excited. I argued with myself. Ultimately chose to carry on. I rode really slow for about half a mile. I thought, if I walk I can hear more of my surroundings. Ditched my bike and walked another half to three quarters a mile. As I'm going further and further I was feeling more nervous and like I was being watched. I crouched down next to a tree, closed my eyes and was trying to measure my surroundings. I could tell the wildlife was significantly more quiet, with light fog in higher elevation. The smell of the air wasn't the fresh woodsy forest air I was used to, more like stale and sort of hard to breath. After about thirty seconds I heard what sounded like a tree hitting a tree. And with slight vibration I felt with my feet and hands I decided to dip out. The whole time feeling like I'm being followed. I started running to my bike and peddled as hard as I could. As soon as I reached the trails end I immediately felt better. I asked my dad at dinner why I wasn't allowed to go to certain areas. He wouldn't give me a straight answer. After doing some research I found out in multiple areas there were satanic rituals being held as well as weird sightings. Even though being raised in a church environment with faith and confidence, I was not prepared to see mutilated animals and small body parts. My dad asked me if I went where I was told not too. I was honest. A week after we moved.

It's interesting that for the last 20 years or so, virtually everyone has had a phone and yet there are never any clear pictures of any of this sort of thing. We have always carried cameras for decades when going camping, hiking, off-roading, etc. We see people filming and photographing almost everywhere we go. And yet, whenever something out of the ordinary like this happens, nobody has a phone or camera to record it with, or if they do, they move the camera around so it is blurry and disorienting to the viewer and nobody can really tell what they are seeing. In this video we only get ai generated images and low-end photo editing. One would think that these people would take a quick picture or video of what they saw, especially if they were going to report it to someone.

Talking of black cubes there are millions of people who make a pilgrimage to Mecca to walk round a huge (covered) cube. Does anyone think that’s odd? The eerie feeling in the woods where no birdsong sounds happened to me a few years ago in Rendlesham forest in Suffolk England really close to the UFO sightings the forest is famous for (80s) I have also felt this on other times in different locations but all in Suffolk UK. It’s very odd you can almost ‘feel’ the silence and it’s even weirder when you come out of the pocket of silence back into reality where the trees are swaying in the wind, birds are singing, you might hear a dog barking in the distance etc. very odd, we know there is more to the world than what we have been taught to believe

THE CUBE There have been stories about black cubes in the woods for a while now. You'd think that most park Rangers would know about them by now. So the one that laughed the guy off was either a newbie, or he was told to do that to discredit and embarrass the one who reported it so the reporter would let it go. Then call in the military to handle it. If the cubes are real, and if they are, what's inside? Obviously they're radioactive, making people sick, but inside... bacteria, creatures...who knows? I was in lee county Kentucky and had a similar experience.. Its almost like time froze or slowed down but when I got to my friends house 4 hours went by. It should have only taken 10 minutes to walk to my friends house, and no I wasn't on any drugs or anything like that! Its like I lost 4 hours of my life and I can't explain it and its to unbelievable to tell anyone without them thinking you are nut case so I just kept it to myself! I can't remember anything that happened during that 4 hours its just like time slowed down for me and sped up for everyone else! Creepy!!! I still wonder what happened to me that day!

I'm always out in the woods and I never have anything fun like this happen. I'm kind of sad about it lol Weirdest thing that I've ever had happen was about 4 years ago. Was wandering around the White Mountains with my dogs. It's a common thing I do, I'll just randomly pack some supplies and just disappear into the woods for a few days with my pups. This one weird experience has always stuck though. We were just walking along, the dogs were romping about. Out of nowhere, everything went dead silent. I mean there was no noise at all. My dogs came running back to me, pressed themselves against my legs and just stood stock still, hackles up. Then there was just this super loud and intense buzzing noise. Almost like what you would hear if you put a microphone in a beehive and cranked the volume. There was nothing around that I could see, no movement anywhere except for the subtle shaking of my dogs. Then it was just gone. Dogs relaxed instantly, shook themselves and just went back to romping around like nothing happened. Definitely the weirdest experience I've had out in the woods.
