song reminds me of her, not because she smoked or anything like that, this song reminds me of her because I really didn't care if she hurt me, I still loved her, but now I don't hold a grudge and hate her anymore, I don't see her anymore and I don't talk to her anymore

Lyrics🍷

My girl Liddy used to always smoke
Cigarettes when she couldn't sleep
She'd disappear for an hour and a half
And when she'd come back she'd brush her teeth
But I could still smell it on her raggedy tee
And I could taste it on her lips when we kiss
Poor little Liddy used to always quit
But she never really quit
She'd just say she did
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
My girl Liddy used to always smoke
Cigarettes when she couldn't sleep
I wonder what she did when she got done
I guess she'd just flick them out in the street
Poor little Liddy, she wishes it was dark
But it's never really dark in L.A.
The light from the billboard always shines
But it changed twelve times since you went away
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
Cigarettes, cigarettes out the window (oh-oh)
We'll find moonlit nights strangely empty
Because when you call my name through them
There will be no answer
Rather melodramatic, aren't you?
We'll find moonlit nights strangely empty
Because when you call my name through them
There will be no answer
You mind if I smoke?
We'll find moonlit nights strangely empty
Because when you call my name through them
There will be no answer
I always smoke in the theater
We'll find moonlit nights strangely empty
Because when you call my name through them
There'll be no answer
Somehow it enhances the performance

_"We'll find moonlit nights strangely empty, Because when you call my name through them, There'll be no answer"_ . I wonder even now, why I haven't done much, yet I'm much better than the next closest path of my life. Simply removing friends from my life would make volatile and dangerous. I would be dead or a horrific abuser in shallow relationships because I abandoned my care for others. I love my friends more than anyone in the world, because of how much they affected it. I will till the day I die be happy to have such people around me, to make me laugh, to inform me to care about me. I remember I recorded myself talking about them in tears and when I sent it I saw the next day they thought I was going to commit suicide but upon finding out it wasn't a suicide note they comforted me and told me they loved me back. Even now I have never been so emotional, so honest, so sad in my life. It is a moment I cannot and will not ever forget. I thank you for this, it allowed me to revisit this moment. You have my gratitude

this sound can make me go through every emotion except anger. I listen to it at least once every day, because it calms me down in a certain way.
when I think about it a little while listening to it, I imagine a young woman on her balcony in the evening with a view of a large lit city, her house being far away, she sees the buildings and buildings lit up while smoking her cigarette thinking to all kinds of things...
Well, that's it, it's just that this music has an incredible vibe and unconsciously soothes me

It's me who listens to this song, realizing that everyone doesn't love you, and you complimented them, and you're not the only one, and you don't understand why. 😪

I still see him in the clouds. I still think about his eyes and smile (I really liked his smile, omg). I listen to Deftones and remember us. It was such a great story, maybe my first ‘butterflies in my stomach.’ Perhaps we’ll meet again in the future. Until then, I’ll love you. Take care, Pookie . I hope I will be alive.
