With the shoutout? You didn't have to do all that. Glad you're back doing what you love brother. Remember to enjoy every run is a good message for anyone. You never know what tomorrow brings.

Man seeing this video put a smile on my face from afar. I dislocated my hip in feb ‘22 snowboarding so i had a similar experience. But to see you go thru the journey nervous but knowing its for the best and then to ultimately get back on snow in time for the season like you never missed a beat is inspiring. You don’t know me but you’re one of my biggest aspirations when it comes to snowboarding. I try to mimic your style all the time, even tho im just learning park lol. Anyway, great to see you back and encouraged, i was rooting for you all year since the initial surgery announcement. I hope to come to summer camp one day (if i can afford it lol). Big props and stay up my man 💯.

I totally feel you bro I broke my scaphoid yesterday I have a week to wait until I get a second x-ray and find out if I’m going to need surgery or not. It’s the best year for snow we’ve in years I’m working on the mountain building houses and my second trip out. I can’t ride now. It’s a shitty bone to break doesn’t like to heal on its own. I just have half cast on hand and wrist right now. I get that it’s much less of an injury but it’s my first year about 10 years and I just got all my gear that I needed. And I know people keep saying I can ride with a broken hand or wrist. But because I haven’t rode for so long, I don’t have all the confidence that I used to. Any fall could put me back on my wrist again. All I did was catch front edge at high speed.

I wish you all the best in your recovery journey buddy. I really hope you get the lesser of the surgeries and you get to go out and shred the slopes again ASAP. Sending all the healing vibes your way.

Glad to see a good recovery from surgery for you. I tore my hamstring from my hip so I’m recovering from surgery back in October. I can’t wait to get back to riding next winter, but I have to sit this one out.
To Anyone who goes through these types of surgeries, it gets better after time. I’ve been through an ACL surgery in the past and it took a few seasons to be back to near normal with a brace, but I am (was currently) better than I ever had been.
Sorry about rambling. Helps me get through all this being a part of the riding community online.

It is so awesome to see you back on a board! You really are one of the best all around riders out there.
You’ve also got an awesome personality!
Enjoy the season!

Nuts that you were able to still ride at all with that kind injury that's super impressive in and of itself.... then such a quick comeback. So boss

Love ya Tommy. So stoked your hip surgery went well. And your style is still off the charts. You love to see it brother!

Great to see you back on snow. The journey back from an injury is an opportunity to experience what it’s like for your athletes, who are trying to learn what you’ve previously mastered. You’ll come out of this a better snowboarder and an even better snowboarding coach. Send it.

you're the man, Tommy! Also, you're a huge inspiration to a lot of riders including myself. I'm starting to have some hip issues (nothing major yet) but I could see myself going down this road in the future.
