"Fuyu-geshki" is a little closer to the correct Japanese pronunciation (the first "i" in geshiki is almost silent), but no matter what you call it, it's stunning.The original cocktail time always had one of the most impressive dials I've seen, but I think the snowflake tops it. The height on the Presage versions always was the biggest turn off to me. 13mm was already pushing it for a dress watch.

Man choosing just one is incredibly difficult. Especially with the new releases! I love the new dark green dial. If I was stupid rich I'd probably get all of them before buying a high end swiss piece.

Apparently the 4R57A for the Presage has an accuracy of -35 to +45 seconds per day Accuracy which is apparently very bad. I'm pretty new to watches and seeing that it's off by half a minute everyday seems pretty bad? What are your thoughts?

Not really a comparison video, but a watch line showcase. You showcased several of the variations in your collection. You should have told us what other variations Seiko has outside your collection. It is always tough to choose a watch over the original that you first fell in love with. I personally love the gold tone cocktail time variation. IMO, as a dress watch, gold is the metal to wear. Silver is more a sporty/casual metal (in general, not all the time).

As a proud owner of ssa361 starlight, I have to say it's hands down the best among the cocktail time series, or dare I say, among all the midrange seiko.
Dial wise, it slaughters every other watch with the right lighting

Fuyugeshiki by miles. The dial is a killer. All are great and awesome. But fuyugeshiki texture on the dial... I wonder why they put it in seiko, not the grand seiko. It's on another level. It miles better than any of rolex dial. I personally own the fuyugeshiki. Love it

I just got the fuyugeshki without the power reserve. I love the look of the snowflake dial. Just stunning, especially with the blue seconds hand to give it some contrast.

They need Sapphire Crystal. That domed Hardlex is such a pain. Yes it looks good but it is so easy to scratch. Put some plastic version in so I can polish scratches out. I have a Presage SRPB07J. It has Sapphire and it was just 200 Euro's. Without that stupid Presage logo. These new ones are overpriced.

Love that SARB065, but at that price point you should be getting a sapphire crystal.

Rose Gold, at the Seiko price points, makes me nervous. Obviously, it has to be plated.

Personally, I would rather have SOLID stainless steel than plated gold of any hue. Over time, that plating wears off and that looks horrible. In the shorter term, depending on the way it is done...it might turn your wrist green.
