Last year, I took a look at the Seiko SRPB77 and SRPD37, two affordable watches from Seiko’s Presage Cocktail Time collection that both have amazing dials for the money. In this video, I’ll be taking a look at two new Seiko Presage models, the SRPF41 and SRPF53, both of which also have striking textured dials in interesting colors and retail for around $500.

I fell in love with the green Dial, this is one of the most beautiful dials ever made.

It’s been said a million times, but macro shots of any higher end seiko put the majority of the Swiss watch industry to complete shame.

My wife bought herself the pink textured (tequila sunset) dial version on a mesh bracelet and it looks amazing. There are so few automatic watches for women and this one fit the bill perfectly.

Stumbled upon the blue dial SRPF53 for sale at a nearby Macys last night. I love the dial color and texture. Came home and sure enough Teddy has a video on it already! Went back today and purchased it

I love the Seiko Presage range of watches and my choice would almost certainly be the green dial, although with a fairly small dial I would have preferred simple hour batons rather than the Arabic numerals which can tend to make the dial slightly cluttered. Both lovely watches though.

Between the 2, the SRPF41 (Matcha) is preferred. The stylised applied numerals compliments the dial surface and gives it the edge for me over the SRPF53.

The Matcha looks really nice even though I'm not really into green dials.

Sometime I just wonder what kind of people would press the dislike button of the video like this? 7 filippo loreti owners?

For almost 500 dollars I think that first one should really come with a sapphire crystal. Does seem that Seiko are quite reluctant to offer sapphire throughout much of their range.

Happy owner of the srpd41j1, which is the dark blue version of the SRPF53, due to its' darker color It appears smaller on the wrist, has the same beautiful dial texture and 6 o clock date window, and white hands.

Wish the bulova had a 9 series movement. These are both very nice additions to the seiko line. I wish Seiko would offer the 6r35 movement at more affordable prices rather than sticking to the 4r series...just say'n.

My favorite is the blue dial model. I just wish it were the same size as the other smaller model here, and on a leather strap too, rather than on one of Seiko’s typically crappy bracelets.

Great watches and great video as always. And thanks for having slowed down your voice speed in recent video, it really makes a big difference!

I'll be honest, I bought the SRPF41 because of this video (and because I love matcha)... Now my favorite watch. Much thanks!

Not gonna lie, been watching this guy's channel like crazy the past couple of months. Still haven't bought my first watch yet. That Grand Seiko winter edition though, that is on point.

Years ago, I bought a new day/date Bulova from a respected jeweler. I was very gentle in pulling the stem out to the intermediate position to set the date or day. My teacher in high school had a Bulova and he was always singing their praises. If he had one they must be good. Sadly, my Bulova was junk. The stem was constantly pulling out, meaning I could hold it in the palm of my hand. It was still under warranty so I had the jeweler repair it. But they couldn't seem to get it right. It would be great for a few weeks or months and than the stem would come out again. After three times, I took the blue-faced Bulova off and never wore it again. I was so disappointed. My first major purchase out of high school and it was a complete disaster. I've never bought another Bulova.

Just bought a presage frozen margarita. All the criticisms are well founded, hardlex and nh35 for £400. But where else can you get a dial like the frozen margarita. If they'd made the dial dark brown with gold case it's would look like a sun flower. Very organic look to it. This the only watch I've bought purely for appearance.
