I was fortunate enough to see SRV in concert in the late 80's. It was a jaw dropping performance to say the least!!!

Who in world is this person playing and this is why I say there is no best player. There's incredible talent everywhere you really have to be in the right place at the right time.

SRV is definitely not overrated. Who ever is playing this I have seen your playing before. Why don't you show your face cause you are amazing.

I became a Jimi Hendrix fan at the of 15 and he will always be my number 1 by a huge distance. Of course I also listened to SRV and enjoyed his playing and music but I miss the sheer creativity and variety Jimi had in his playing and SRV was nowhere near as a good a songwriter. His playing was incredible, no doubt about that.
