Pearl Demon Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal

When this double bass drum pedal arrived I decided to turn the camera on in my living room, unbox and set up my drum pedal. I cut it up into a time lapse video. But first I wanted to show where it all started with my first pedal ever PDP bass drum pedal as well as my DW 3000 double bass pedal. I also included a quick bit while converting the pearl demon drive pedal board. This is a Pearl demon direct drive pedal which means this is not chain driven unlike all of my old pedals. I'm extremely excited to set this bad boy up and get to playing! Stay tuned for the next one, where you'll probably catch me playing my demon drive!

I owned a Demon Drive direct drive double pedal for only as long as it took me to sell it on eBay. I was truly disappointed by it. To me (and I've owned everything from Ludwig Speed King to DWs and Tamas) it felt sluggish and unresponsive. This would be the last pedal I would consider now. By the way I'm currently using Yamaha FP-9D's both single and double depending upon the situation, and am extremely pleased with them.

I have a question, I heard from someone you can convert the double pedal into two single pedals. I have two bass drums and I primarily want to use two single pedals but if it comes to a time where I only have one bass drum, I want to be able to use my same pedals on one bass drum. So I was wondering if this is possible and if someone could help with the process.
