10 Funny James Bond Commercials

I put together ten funny James Bond commercials. Well, and some additional bonus material, as always. This time it wasn’t easy because I wanted to use real commercials, not trailers, but there are not so many ads, or at least not in such good quality. Some if those which have good quality – like the Lotus commercials – are extremely stylish, but not funny. So here comes my list. It contains what I could find and what I think is funny. Also, I tried to include all or almost all actors who starred as James Bond. And certainly, the legendary Q and Jaws. These characters are essential for James Bond movies and I like them very much. 1. Visa, “Tuk Tuk” (Rick shaw) with Pierce Brosnan, Zhang Ziyi and Wichai Jongprasitporn from 2002, Clemenger BBDO, Sydney

2. Heineken “Daniel Craig vs James Bond” with, obviously, Daniel Craig and the real-life bank robber Daniel Rojo for "No time to die" from 2020, the commercial was filmed in Spain, especially in the Castle of Tamarit in Tarragona, the agency was Publicis Italy, the actress in the cab is Blanca Parés, shoutout to TheZemun who figured it out

3. John Cleese as Q in Agent under Fire for Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox and Playstation 2 from apparently 2001

4. Omega watches with Daniel Craig for Spectre from 2015

5. Heineken with the unforgettable Desmond Llewelyn as Q from 1999 (It’s all about the beer) - the TV commercial was shot and released after principal photography on The World is Not Enough and is apparently the final filmed appearance of Desmond Llewelyn as Q

6. Heineken, "Chase" with Daniel Craig and Zara Prassinot for Spectre from 2015, director was Sam Mendes, there is also a posthumous cameo from Herve Villechaize, who played Nick Nack in 1974's The Man With the Golden Gun, and a hat-throw that echoes the signature move of Harold Sakata's Oddjob from 1964's Goldfinger

7. Heineken with Daniel Craig for Quantum of Solace from 2008

8. Heineken, "Crack the Case" with Daniel Craig and Bérénice Marlohe for Skyfall from 2012, singer is Gin Wigmore

9. Pepsi Max, James Bond, also starring Jaws

Commander James Bond RN, code number 007, is a fictional character created by the British journalist and novelist Ian Fleming in 1952. Bond is a British secret agent working for MI6. The character appeared in a series of twelve novels and two short story collections written by Fleming and a number of continuation novels and spin-offs as well as in 27 film productions between 1962 and 2020. He has been portrayed on film by Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

These are all great but the villain cameos were the perfect touch. I saw Nik-Nak, Dr. No and Jaws, did I miss anyone ?

The first add, Pierce Brosnan is by far the best it combines many scenes from multiple Bond Movies from Roger Moore onwards, each time I watch it I see more. RIP: Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Desmond Llewelyn, Bernard Lee and Lois Maxwell, your contribution to ours lives will be remembered forever.
