You look so festive and persimmons are in season, in the Balkans and some other places. Where in the USA does one see persimmon trees? NY, CT, and other states around me don’t have them. Of course, stores do import them. How did that persimmon taste? It looked like it needs a few more days to ripen—they ripen like bananas, sitting in a fruit bowl. The flesh tastes much better, when it’s very ripe—messy, though.
