I was able to use the xpro 2 last night and as a convinced user of the xpro1 - the D700 rests on the shelf- here we get a really superbly fast reliable high IQ camera. Yes it is a bit expensive but here ygwypf. It is a great experience to photograph with and the results are just wonderful. Period.

The price is a little too high imho. The jump from a used X-T1 to X-Pro2 is £750 ( ~$1000) I could literally buy a used XT1, 35MM F2, 56mm F1.2 and a bunch of accessories for the price of a new X-Pro2 body. WTF Fuji. Infact for the price of this camera I could get a Sony A7II. I dont know what fuji is thinking.

"a new film simulation mode. It's called Acros which is an old b&w film stock...." What? Fuji Acros is the film where some people say it looks too digital because it's super sharp, low grain. That's the film I use and it's an absolutely modern formula and has nothing retro on it.

You can still buy Fuji Acros film, in case you want to get your film look that way. It's great stuff.

How's the focus with following a subject? Etc. a dog or fast-moving child? Will I be able to get proper focused images with this camera?

I had the Fujifilm X-E2, but it fell short when trying to catch pictures of my dog running. Which is why I got rid of it and bought a D750.

On my X-pro2 with 35mm f2 lens (only one I tested) there's a one click difference on the diopter between the EVF and OVF. Fuji says they are aware and this is normal. $1700? REALLY? This is something they could calibrate with firmware (body or lens) but they say they'll won't look into it unless they get a lot of complaints. Check yours. If you have the issue let's accommodate them with a campaign to Fuji Support. This needs to be fixed!

WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL OF FUJI X SERIES??? THE QUALITY OF THE IMAGES? THE WEIGHT? TRY WIYH NIKON DF WITH A 35MM 2.0 AND 85MM 1.8 AND THEN TELL ME THAT SEEM TO THESE PHOTOS, AND IF THAT BLUR AND IF TO BRING HEAVY THEY FIND THAT GEAR
