The character development Neville received was so wonderful to watch. As a kid, you don’t think much of his character. But as you grow and watch them grow too, and see the character arc of how he went from being a scared and pitied boy into a brave and courageous man. The most interesting thing I think people often miss is how everyone goes through a lot of terrible things, but they retain their kindness throughout the show which really teaches us how to judge the good from the bad. And how defeating Voldemort wasn’t just Harry’s story, but every single other person involved. It collectively took such an enormous amount of effort from everyone, not just harry, to get to the end. And they say this book is for kids! As if!

As per the prophecy, there were teo children who matched with the prophecy. Harry and Neville. Bellatrix went for Neville's parents when Voldemeort went for Harry's. If it was interchanged, Neville would have been the boy who lived his his mom could protect him like Lily did.
