Can your bed do this?

Seeee let’s explain it! (You can get ALL my plans in the subscription account)
The minimum size required in a room to build this is exactly the size you want of the bed + 20 cm on the long side of depth + 40 for passage.
This means if you want a bed of 200x140 you will need a room minimum 260 long (240 of you really wanna squeeze it in but I would not suggest it) so that you have the space to open it.
Regarding the width instead there is no real guidance as THEORETICALLY as it’s designed to be open just end sleeping…. THEORETICALLY you could have 245 (5cm are 2.5 cm thickness of wood on each side).
What we did here is to have a closet on both sides of the bed so we can store pillows and blankets there making it easy to access (50 cm per side + thickness of the wood so 2.5 x 4 = 10 extra so 110 in total)

VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Do not forget you will need the space to open the door!!! So if your door is opening towards the inside you will need to distance the bed at least 80 from the wall door!
