This is the song that made me fall in love with Audrey Hepburn. She's such a goof and I love it! Audrey Hepburn's Crazy Dance! - "Basal Metabolism" from the motion picture "Funny Face" released in 1957. Footage is 1080p HD quality. Starring Fred Astaire and the lovely Audrey Hepburn.

I love Audrey Hepburn. She can do it all. Acting, dancing, singing, etc.

wow! wow! wow! Audrey was awesome! It's a damn shame she didn't get to make more movies where she danced. Love this jazz dance. She could have played a ballerina (she was a ballet dancer). Looks like she kept it up to be able to do a scene as demanding as this one. I'd love to dance like that! 🥳💞💥

The Academy should create award for best dance in a movie and give the first one (post mortem) to Audrey Hepburn for her dance at the underground parisien bar in Funny face (1957) 😍

Bought the movie long time ago, Dance scene was the highlight for me. Should have added worked at NCSA one summer back in the 90's must have seen something and I did ! But I watch her ankles and feet.

Do we know who choreographed this? It's brilliant!

If only every one of Audrey's films could have featured her dancing ability, highlighted it in some way (admittedly, one movie, namely, "Wait Until Dark", would not have worked out) then American cinema would have a treasure trove of modern dance performances the equal of her near contemporaries, including Ginger Roger's, to name one. If "Funny Face" had showcased Audrey and Astaire then it would have rivaled "Singin' In The Rain" as a dance musical work.
We'll, that's just my humble opinion, for whatever it's worth.

i'm totally distracted by how shockingly underweight audrey clearly was in that film.she was anorexic.she is the size of a small child.i always liked her.she looked, even more frail, when older and still anorexic.she was emaciated thinner than any modern actress.
