My favourite proposal is “the world’s gone beautiful” by Lily. It describes an event that will happen 24 hours before an End of the world scenario.

During this event, beautiful flowers will bloom over 90% of the surface of the earth, and the sky will be clear of any clouds or rain. Every person on earth will know about the impending fate of earth during the event.

The foundation aren’t attempting to stop or contain this (since it isn’t the cause of the world ending) and when it happens, all personell - including O5 and D-class - are let go, free to use the next 24 hours of the world as they wish.
