To me, the two articles are very clear in purpose: a facility housing Keter objects is, itself, by definition a Keter class object. The facilities are each others foil, in an attempt by the entity that governs the containment pairs to contain itself.

I actually really like this proposal because it explains why there are so many thing that can easily destroy the world or at least lead to a breach of secrecy and how they’ve managed to keep it all under wraps.

Given that the whole gimmick is two SCPs countering each other, the two different facilities could be the same. They interact with each other to keep things balanced.

The story is a Yin-Yang concept i'd say. A light one with a dark point and a dark one with a light point. Maybe the sites themselves have to keep each other in check because one alone would be too Keter?

I amuse myself how such stories are imagined. The fact that the SCP universe is a collaborative project is one of the best things about it. Each author brings a new perspective to the fictional universe and I love it.
