If it doesn't snap on, does that mean you will definitely have a problem or could you hold the connector on with maybe a zip tie? How can I truly tell if the connection or connector is bad or not? I put in some new coils and the connectors didn't snap into place. Some seem fine and others are iffy. Thanks. Great video.

You just saved me so much stress, headaches and aggravation. I was getting cylinder 2 & cylinder 4 misfire. Haven't had the truck long, but figured the coils were bad with the truck having 140k on it. I replaced all 8 and drove for a short while and felt the hesitation come back. Check engine light began blinking and the engine power was down to where my a/c quit and power steering was cutting out. I got 3 of these clips that broke as yours did. I pushed them back on as best I could and figured it would be ok, but obviously not. Thankfully I found this video and plan to hit the junk yard on my way home today. There is a few of these in the yard there. Hopefully I can find some that are still decent enough. No way was I going to cut and splice, but figured I would have to replace the whole harness and or take it to the shop. I am so relieved that I can fix this myself. I am good with cars and almost always repair things myself, but I do not like messing with electrical because things are so finicky. Thanks again. I feel so lucky to have found a video that was the exact problem and solution in 1 short video.

Very small screw driver and push on keeper from wire side. It has snap connection too. Push and it will pop up. Then pull it out with needle nose. You won't be breaking them

thanks for the video. 1 broke off and the other 3 feel like they're going to break as well. paid 9 bucks at the junk yard for 4 of them. in the event they break when I replace the plugs.

Thanks, was just about to do coils and plugs and found the first connector loose. Misfire went away with the connector pushed down.
