All the while Pope Francis clamps down on the Latin Mass, there is a picture of him in every vestibule of every SSPX chapel that I've ever set foot in and this speaks to the humility of the SSPX and what Archbishop Lefebvre started.

10 years ago, at my parish in China, the half tuition African students invited me to their Bible Study after Mass. The seriousness and strong faith really hit me, (shocking this Canadian). I learned later that these important Bible Studies after Mass were started by Lefebvre.

Thankfully you mentioned the SSPX shortly after we were locked out for a period. I looked to see if one was near me and found I was near SSPX Dickinson. What a blessing. It’s truly the remnant of the Catholic faith.

Archbishop Lefebvre was undoubtedly a man of God, and his impact on the Church and countless cannot be overlooked. Likewise I personally believe that one day he will become one of the greatest saints of holy mother Church.

AB Marcel Lefebvre will one day be named one of the greatest Saint, why though? Because he singlehandedly saved the TLM, by making Bishops in the time of PURE Liberalism way back then.
Imagine, where he here today, what would this incredible man say? He PRESERVED the Latin Mass and holy Priesthood from total disaster, it came from his line, from his hands! MANY of the FSSP Priests were once SSPX and are often times trained by them still. I'd say he is an incredible Saint in waiting, God knows his own! DEO' GRATIS! Ave' Maria!

Thank you for talking about this saintly man. I too raised in the NO, believed him guilty of the "cardinal" sin of disobedience. And when I arrived at the tradition, I slowly had sympathy for him. Now I have full admiration. His mother was a remarkable person as well. Very heroic family.

Some people say they love the Latin Mass and simultaneously condemn SSPX.
That is a stance I can only compare to protestants who say the Church was basically gone for many years, while cherry picking aspects from the supposed 'evil' Church.
