Marcel Lefebvre did not die excommunicated: Here's why

Detractors of Lefebvre say he died excommunicated. Well, they are wrong, like they always are.

It is as always, holy men who are defending the Truth are maligned and persecuted. I am not even a Latin Mass goer, but Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre is a HOLY man of God and was correct about the how Vatican II degraded the church and desecrated the Liturgy. Like retired Irish Fr Sean Sheehy, who preached in his homily about sinful acts that are now considered good was chastised by his bishop.

Knowing what has been going on in the Church for the last 100 plus years, it is reasonable to think that those who are obeying the teaching of the Church, is not a modernist, would be rudely treated, and maligned. We have some questionable new saints these days. And we have a pope who is openly saying do not attempt to spread the Faith. I want to want Jesus more than I want the world and what we are being pushed towards is the world not Jesus.
