Thank you for the video. Definition of "compound": a thing that is composed of two or more separate elements; a mixture." Another way to think of a compound molecule is to think of a compound word like crosswalk. You have 2 different words coming together to make 1 word. Cross is an element and Walk is an element. Together they make 1 compound molecule (cross/walk). All compounds are molecules, but not all molecules are compounds. The letter "A" is a molecule, but it isn't compound by itself. It would need to be added to something else like "AB".
