In December 1998, I was treated intravenously with Ciphro for an intestinal sepis event that was finally diagnosed on the fourth day as being a ruptured ovarian cyst. Then, the doc switched me to a broad spectrum antibiotic that helped bring down my high infection count, but I suffered with internal and intestinal issues for years that no doctor could understand. My new functional health doctor suspected that I had leaky gut from all of my symptoms, and based on my history. She has been the one to help guide me to much improvement in my health by using fermented foods and beverages. Thanks for educating us, but get this information into the medical schools and to the medical professionals, especially gastroenterologists who tend to diminish a person's symptoms, trying to convince a patient that they have mental and emotional issues.

Dr Davis changed my life. I bought his book, ‘super gut’ and I’m making the recipes. Slowly I feel the shift in my body. I have regular bowel movement like clockwork. First time in my adult life (I’m 60) can sleep all night long without sleeping pill. I’m not bloated anymore. I just ordered the fermentation dish and the rest of the probiotics he recommended. I brush my teeth each night with 3 drops of clove oil on my toothbrush with my paste. After brushing, I brush my tongue briefly then fill my mouth with water, swish forcefully then throw my head back for a deep gargle. Wow, the saliva often trickles out the corners of my mouth. It's very powerful 🙌 and deserves 🙏 our respect. I'm done having sore throats and sinus infections, too. My dental hygienist is always impressed with the health of my gums and teeth. So SIMPLE, SO EFFECTIVE! Start chewing a few cloves during the day. Or.. use the essential oil, as I just explained. 😊

All I know if doctors spent their time learning this stuff instead of learning what drugs to push the world would be healthy and happier place. But, medical schools will never change their protocol so it is up to YouTubers to get these good doctors on the air.

great interview. i wanted to learn more but a couple of other videos had the interviewers talking over the doctor, interrupting him even and sharing too much about their own lives (why??!), and i couldn't pay attention. this interviewer however did it PERFECTLY. 😊 i learned a lot. thank u

This is such a FANTASTIC episode!! I have had gut issues most of my adult life. I'm a celiac and have been diagnosed with SIBO in the past. I was given conventional antibiotic. I learned so much from this episode. I want to get my hands on this Thanks for getting this information out there.

Really researching this topic lately. It would explain a whole lot and give me something to fight possible MS, keep cancer in remission and so on. Would love to hear if the yoghurt production helped anyone with neurological issues, similar to MS? They tell you to cut out dairy, well for me it was always beneficial. But not saying store bought milk, we are blessed to have our own goats. Healthy foods and with that a healthy microbiome seem to be the road for me. I have nothing to lose🙏

Outstanding interview Jesse! Bought Wheat Belly, years ago, and ever since have trusted Dr Davis’s opinion. The man is a book of walking, talking knowledge! After hearing this I’m concerned for my micro biome. Besides the usual antibiotics throughout life etc, I went keto/ carnivore for awhile, lost 70 pounds, feel so much better, but didn’t realize the effect it can have on microbiome 😢 After this interview, I feel I have the tools and knowledge to do what I can to improve my health even further! Thank you for sharing all this!
