I do this with boneless country style ribs cut into cubes . I cut mine up night before about ice cube size....put into a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Next day .. drop them into seasoned flour, cover well... set them into a plate on side than wait 10 minutes and drop them into flour again . Give em the bumpy bump... drop them into hot grease .... everyone goes crazy for them... serve em with homemade potato chips and different dips for everything and you got a real winner.

Looks tasty. I'm 53 yes old. I was grown and married before I knew ribs could be cooked anyway but fried. My mother would always fry them and everytime she made them she always cooked rice and gravy and ranch style beans.
Thanks for the video, it took me back

AB, I started frying ribs years ago after wanting ribs other than the traditional grilling them and preparing them in the oven. I always remove the membrane from them, slather mustard all over them, apply my seasoning well all over and wrap the slab in plastic wrap and allow them to sit in the refrigerator overnight. Prior to frying them, I allow them to come to room temperature before I fry them in my fryer with peanut oil. Depending on what day I'm preparing them depends on the sides I serve with them. If its for a Saturday dinner, I serve baked beans, coleslaw, corn on the cob and sweet tea. If its for a Sunday meal, collard greens, Mac and Cheese, cornbread and whatever beverage they want to drink. You can never go wrong with fried ribs. Thanks AB for sharing your version of fried ribs.

I have made fried ribs and they are fire! I do exactly what you do – marinate with mustard and use plenty of seasonings. You never taste the mustard and the ribs are delicious!

Liked yr version. My late Mom did deep fried ribs when we were kids. I'm 65, eldest of 5 girls.
She also used rib brisket/riblets marinated w mustard, brown sugar, salt/pepper, soy & worchester sauce, dipped in flour & fried in Crisco. I followed her recipe, but use Rice flour,
sometimes no flour & East Oakland Sweet & Savory Rub. Works well w beef ribs.

I don't know how I have never had deep fried ribs. I'm definitely making this with a homemade dipping sauce 😋.
Much appreciated as always

Awesome recipe I’m gonna try this but I got to do it an old-school way. I got these premade 1 gallon like air seal bags. I just put my flower in it and do it like my grandmother used to do it shake each piece up in there and drop and go drop and go.

I asked my husband what he wanted for Sunday dinner, and he said AB cooked some fried ribs so yes that’s what Hubby wants and it’s going to be on. Thanks for sharing your cooking gift with the World’s

Those look great!
I used to make corned beef ribs, quick deep fry served with a killer slaw and homemade 1000 Island dressing.
It's just a different approach to a classic.

😊 Good morning A B.
I'm making your fried ribs today.
I'm a southern lady here in Alabama.
I made some potato salad and I'm going to make some baked beans too. My mouth is watering thinking about those ribs. I think my husband is going to flip when he eats these ribs.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes. God bless you.

The membrane removal has always intimidated me. Now I see how it's done, I will take a chance and pick up some baby backs! Thanks AB 🥰

I ❤your channel! I’m sure you have made your family very proud. I have used a few of your delicious recipes and I give you “thumbs up.” I know you have a love for cooking and grilling. That’s why your food and recipes are so awesome. I’m aging now and dealing with Parkinson’s disease so I’m not in the kitchen as often.
However, when I am in my kitchen and I need to know something about a recipe, it you I trust. Because YOU COOK with ❤. Mrs. Rountree Woodbridge Virginia

We grew up with my Mom frying ribs! That was the thing in Chicago and she did it until the day she died. Now I fry ribs, keeping the legacy going, and it was a pleasure to see someone else do it right!

I never thought to fly rib. I always baked them in the oven.
