So much of the past so long forgotten... it's good that these bits of it still live... Thank you!

I easily get sucked into watching videos like this for hours and hours kinda frequently. My absolute favorite era is the 19th century and I'd bet I've seen 90% of all the photos from the Civil War. I don't know what it is about looking at a person who's entire life is forgotten to history and just wondering who they were, what they liked, what they hated, what was the conversation like when they were taking the photo. It is a deeeep rabbit hole to fall into.

The harmony of the music with the images gives you a beautiful feeling about the life of that era and how beautiful and simple life was❤

These are all so precious. I’m certain it’s almost by accident these film footages have survived at all.

Absolutely fantastic. Colour brings it into the 21st century.

Apart from the content itself, your restorations are simply the best as well. No noticeable upscaling artefacts (both in resolution and frame rate). Natural colours (well, if there's too much detail, it looks like it's at the limit of processing power). Thanks a lot! 🤗

It's so hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that most of the children in this video have lived their lives and are gone now. So wild to think of how many lives come and go.

So, every single one of them had a story, a life, struggles, ups and downs, purpose and dreams, I keep thinking about that every time I watch this kind of videos, may they rest in peace.

What an incredible effort!
Feeling a deeper love for all people—whoever they are, wherever they may be, at any moment in time.

Bringing the imagery closer to how we see naturally removes the passage of time from these people. We don’t see them as historical subjects in grainy film, but humans like us living their lives. This is spectacular.
