The bins in Dallas and Houston are very picked over but some good items can be found. Having better luck lately at yard sales or independently run thrift / junk shops.

The closest Goodwill Outlet to me is about 55 miles from my home. My sister-in-law and I go as often as we can. The prices here are .89 per lb for hard goods and 1.89 per lb for clothing. Some days we find lots of things and other days just a few things. That is what's fun about going, you never know what you'll find. You know how it is, it's the hunt that is fun.

Wow your bins are over flowing! I live in Orange County California and out bins are barely half way only clothes that’s it! And we pay $2.99 lb.
