1984. Williams AFB. Pilot in my squadron driving to work gets t-boned and killed by a drunk driver blowing through a stop sign. Left behind his lovely young wife and two small children. Drunk walked away with minor injuries. Still makes me feel sick to this day.
Life in prison is not even close to justice.

What bothers me is that the mother probably does not know about her daughter yet. I pray for all of them. This is such a heart breaking tragedy. The drunk should have "I KILLED A LITTLE GIRL" tattooed on his forehead.

I do not drink and never did. But a DRUNK driver who was THREE TIMES over the legal limit AT NOON hit me...came out of nowhere off a side road and damn near killed me. This is something you never get over! was this driver hurt? NO...but then it seems the drunk never is. I STILL have issues because of this and more than likely always will!!! It is a real tragedy a CHILD was killed in this accident and in my estimation he should NEVER see the light of day again!!!
