Zane Watson answers: Is training to failure necessary for bodybuilding success?

In bodybuilding, training to failure is a tactic that requires a lifter to lift reps until they can no longer put up weight. In our latest GI Exclusive, Zane Watson discusses the misconceptions about training to failure and how to perform the tactic properly.

I like how Watson spends a lot of effort creating a posing routine, he really keeps it more of an art form 🙇‍♂️ 🙏🏼

Knowing Zane personally, I can tell you that his training was incredibly intense and was always very intelligent about his approach. Everyone responds to different stimulus. What works for most people is great however we have “outliers” all throughout history who train a different way and find great success. His posing was phenomenal and took the sport extremely seriously. It was a pleasure to be in the same room and watch him train.
Respect.

Listening tof real people talk is fun and gives inspiration. Training to failure takes much guts. Some of us that try do pretty well probably but I bet we reach mental failure and not physical failure. But we do what we can do

Train to failure? Doesn't make sense. Train to succes makes more sense. There. I fixed it.

Training to failure just makes you fatigued as hell. Better to keep reps in the tank
