26 years in machining and I'm learning more programming from Titan's of CNC than my entire career. The plain truth is most places want button pushers. I had this today at a walk threw and the big boss saying “yea this is his hmc” “he started here at 18 the week after he graduated an became a certified welder, and got NDT inspection lvl 1 cert ” and I immediately said this position came on an hmc from the people I work with....that’s it I learned from everyone I pulled info take everything in....you learn and use

If no one wants to teach you how to do thing with the machine you run, then ask the shop manager for the manual and read. If they say no, then go somewhere else.

I love the programming and machining but i hate shift work..because of that im gonna study plastics so i can get out of shift work.
