Long Live the King!

Have you ever wanted to be a king, but are too lazy to establish your own kingdom? Well, why not take over someone else's throne? With these quick tips, you'll be wearing a crown* in no time.

*For some reason, the crown is unavailable for purchase, I had to open the cheat menu to get it. In previous patches, you could just buy it from a shop. Unlike the crown, the kingdom of Battania was obtained legitimately over the course of several hours.

This happened to me on complete accident on a mercenary Vlandian sandbox campaign. Shortly after becoming a noble, the king died and everyone voted for me to become the new king, quite funny because I was technically the weakest lord at the time.

Happened to me, I was devoted myself to be the most loyal knight of Vladia. Then suddenly the king died and all the nobles voted for me. I was like: I JUST WANTED TO SERVE!

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy

I'm sure King Aeril (who mysteriously disappeared) will be looking forward to greeting Caladog in the next life.

i have done that in my southern empire playthrough. unifying the whole empire as new ruler was so satisfying.

While editing this video I realized that this subject must be explored more in-depth over the course of a 10-15 minute video. All I was able to give in these 50 seconds were mere glimpses...

I was playing a Battanian vassal campaign, where I planned to stay a vassal and help them conquer Calradia, when Caladog died and I got elected High Queen without even trying!🤣 Honestly, if you’re not in a hurry, and plan to stick with one faction, you’ll just naturally build up relation with your fellow vassals—most notably by marrying your relatives into their faction. In the campaign I mentioned, I got a lot of relation that way because it was long enough for me to not only marry myself and my siblings into a few clans, but to marry my children and nieces and nephews into some others!

If you are in a hurry, though, then of course you’ll have to resort to some more…expeditious means!😈

The Aserai randomly elected me king after carrying them the last four wars and the king died of being bad at life. I was tired of saving them from Vlandia and the North Empire though so i left and made my own kingdom raiding their lands.

Actually it was an lucky accident in my play through that I become the king of my favorite fraction the valandians. 🤩 Best game ever.

Funny enough I became king of valandia without even trying on my first playthough of bannerlord because the king died of old age and I was married into the king's clan so was on the list, on top of that the vassal all voted for me

The fact that they just give you random things like castles and towns is a cool thing at first, but sometimes they’ll just throw you a rundown with high Garrison cost so it’s best to just give it back away. I am just now learning these things.😅

I was hunting them down in battles. It's damn difficult for monchug to be captured.
